Gate 5 is the second album from Thulebasen.
It's also a record that redefined the band in many ways. On the first album "Guitar Wand" Thulebasen was a solo project of front figure Nis Bysted. From "Gate 5" and onwards Thulebasen is a trio.
The songs on this record combined with the whole becoming-a-band thing has placed Thulebasen in a very special place musically with the group's rare mix of guitar riffs, improvisation, fearless vocals and chaotic beats.
